You receive in line queries and a detailed editorial letter with actionable suggestions to strengthen your manuscript while honoring your unique story and voice.

After filling out the intake form, we’ll talk about your goals for the project and what you’re looking for in an editor. I’ll provide a sample edit for up to 2000 words. If we are a good fit, you’ll send me your manuscript and I’ll get to work.
Who it’s for
Developmental editing is the first stage of editing. This edit is about the big picture. Is the story in your head translating onto the page? Are there plot holes? Does the structure make sense? Do your character arcs make sense?
If something feels off in your story but you’re not sure what, you likely need developmental editing.
